Year 2008 was indeed a great year for the hip-hop R & B duo, PSquare. With the release of their hot selling album 'Game Over' in December 2007 which featured hit songs like Do me, Ifunaya, Roll it, and No One like You, their music rocked every party, club and concert within and outside Nigeria throughout 2008.

Apart from the fact that they are both biological twins, Peter and Paul share a great bond in music and have been able to both harness their talents to produce mega hit songs and music videos.

This year will not be an exception as the duo plans to hit the music industry in a bigger way. This is what Peter has to say 'We have gone international and all our concerts abroad are sold out. So in the New Year, people are going to see a better Psquare with more international knowledge. It's like a footballer playing for Enyimba FC or Plateau United, tomorrow he will play for Chelsea FC.

So, people are going to see a better Psquare, a more improved Psquare. We now know the kind of songs that people love. You will be surprised that the kind of songs people like here in Nigeria is not what they like abroad. Take the song Temptation; it was reigning in other countries while Busy Body was reigning in Nigeria. This time around, we want to do an international album, a crossover album. Even if we are not hoping to feature any international artiste, it is still going to be crossover'.

The duo plans on releasing a single first this year before releasing their forth coming album. This they say is just a new strategy for them. 'It's good to be unpredictable, the market is diversifying and new ideas and strategies are being deployed. We can even release three singles before the album'.

However fans are assured of the best form Psquare. 'People will see more things internationally. There should be an international collabo but it is not a strategy to sell the album. We are doing it because the song fits the artiste'.

Though Psquare won the Channel O music awards two years ago, Peter however hinted that part of the group's New Year resolution is that they won't honour any award because of so much politics involved. Adding that the best award they've got is the fact that they are known internationally. They further promised not to let their teaming fans down.

On the birth of his son (Cameron) by Nigeria's Lola Omotayo, Peter says he's very excited because it was one of the best gifts he got in 2008.Adding that it has taught him to respect life and people.

We wish them a successful 2009.
